Successful candidates for either position will be expected to perform multiple tasks, while adhering to a schedule. Candidates for the positions must meet the following minimum requirements:
Animal handling and care-giving experience
Excellent behavioral observation skills
Competent volunteer and public interactions
Willingness to work in hot and humid conditions
Physically able to stand, kneel, bend and climb ladders
for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work weekends and some holidays
Interest in and respect for native and migratory bird species
